In-Character Information

Name: Chihiro Fujisaki
Game/Series: Dangan Ronpa: Academy of Hope, High School students of DESPAIR
Teacher/Student/Other: Student
Canon Point: Mid-way chapter 2
Age: 16-17
Grade Level/Class Taught/Job: Freshmeat
Dorm or Living Arrangement: DORRRMMMS

Personality:
A gentle individual, Chihiro is a sweet kid who would not even think about hurting anyone- not even a fly. The idea of violence really distress him, more so when he suddenly finds himself in a school motivating students to murder each other. With his passive nature, it's not much of a surprise that he would prefer for everyone to at least not argue with one another and is quick to apologize to avoid arguments himself, even if he isn't at fault. Unsurprisingly, he's also a forgiving person, so long as the person sincerely apologizes, he almost has no hard time forgiving them.

He's a soft-spoken boy to boot too, it's not very often he'd speak things straightforwardly or voices his disagreements strongly-- while not entirely a pushover, he can easily come off as one thanks to his passive nature and his shy demeanor. Not that it means you can easily trample over him, when another person is in line, he does at least try to stand up and argue; though quickly apologize when Togami berates him. All in all, he can basically sum up as a bit 'softy'.

Because of that, if not because of his effeminate appearance, people often judge him as an 'unmanly' boy. To which is the reason why he dressed as a girl in the first place; to avoid being judge frequently. It doesn't really easily solve the problem however, while the teasing and mockery stopped, the hacker had far already developed a complex about his weakness in his lack of masculinity. On the bright side however, he seems to be trying to fix this.

While Chihiro seems shy most of the time, he is likely to easily comes out of his shell once the topic revolves around computers. Being a boy with frail health during childhood, he developed an interest in computers as a means of a hobby without endangering his health. It's almost the opposite of his usual demeanor, he talks far more enthusiastically about programming-- it's his passion, before his talk with Naegi, he almost believes that it's a talent but not a useful one to help them out.

At this point though, he's actually slowly coming out of his shell, and not just because programming. Thanks to Naegi and Mondo, he had slowly gained confidence and try to overcome his weaknesses- but also try to be more confident of the strengths he currently has. He also seems to have grown a bit of a determined personality; because, despite possibly being aware that the road ahead would definitely not be easy, he isn't going to give up because now he doesn't want to just run and/or stand around without doing much. He's determined to become the person he dreams to be for years.

Backstory:
Once upon a time, the Fujisaki family gave birth to a beautiful son, whom was well. Rather small and frail for a young boy, despite of this however, the couple love the child and cared for him as best as they could. He live a rather sheltered life though unfortunately thanks to being a rather sickly child, he doesn't spend much out playing with other children or the like; the brunette however began a growing interest in computers. Amazingly, without proper training, the boy manage to modify Mr. Fujisaki's latest program at the time- and instead of being angry, he was amazed at how his son manage to do such feat. Before they knew it, the young boy spend his free time learning and fiddling more on computers.

All fine and dandy, except he's rather awkward at school- not because he's a brainy kid, but rather his looks. He looks far too feminine to be a boy, it irked his classmates. It wasn't just them either, sometimes even adults ushered the boy to be more manly or rough, instead of being so soft-spoken. It drove him on the edge.

Eventually however, the straw finally broke the camel's back. But instead of confronting his issue head on, the boy instead transferred schools during junior high and disguised himself as a girl. It didn't necessarily helped that his parents had simply oblige instead of trying to coach more confidence into their son, it's not that they're neglectful, simply more that they're not entirely sure how to help their only son. The judgmental stares and mocking stopped, Chihiro could almost sigh in relief. Almost. His complex on his own masculinity still haunts him that he could never fully comfortable going about his days.

Days passed and he found himself being scouted to be in the illustrious school; 'Hope's Peak Academy', the academy that only accepts the best of the best. Chihiro himself was earned the title Super High School Level Programmer. Needless to say, it was a huge privilege to be accepted such school and his parents would certainly be ecstatic, he accepted the offer to the school.

Shortly after arrival however-- he finds himself waking up in a twisted version of the famous school along with 14 other unfortunate students.

Their captor, a strange robot-bear called Monobear says that they've been kidnapped and the only means of escape is to commit a murder without anyone else finding out. Whilst no one would likely to listen to this strange bear, others thinking it's just an orientation ceremony, the ominous 'principal' is proven to be manipulative and had set up the first 'motivation'. Which is a set of DVD, one disc per person, revealing their love ones cutting away and implications that they've been kidnapped or even worse.

Not long after, Sayaka Maizono was found dead in Naegi Makoto's shower.

They should have seen it coming, but turns out there was a catch; a school trial was held to determine the murder. Simply to put, if they accuse the wrong person, not only would the murder get away but the rest of the class would be 'punished'. On the other hand, if the murderer is found, they are to be dragged to execution.

Thankfully, the first chapter is relatively short and easy So after debates and other discussion, they eventually found the murderer was Leon Kuwata. Despite his pleas that it was purely out of self-defense, he was dragged by Monobear to his execution.

It was pure horror, Chihiro and the others could only stare in horror whilst a chained down Kuwata was beaten to death mercilessly by a machine shooting baseballs at a high speed.

So within the first few days, the body count had already gone up to three. Maizono died trying to lure Leon so she can get the first kill, Junko Enoshima being stabbed by several spears after breaking one of the rules, and Kuwata being executed for committing a murder despite his pleas that it was self-defense. Grim was an understatement, and it's just exactly what Monokuma wants; to drown them into the pits of despair.

But that can't be easily it, they shouldn't just... give into despair, right? He certainly didn't think so. It's no lie that the deaths still unsettle him, but he still tries to be optimistic, even for just a bit.

Mondo comforts him, and promising a man's promise to him- it made him feel a bit more at ease after feeling bad when Togami had sneered at him. Since the beginning, he had thought Mondo, aside from his terrifying temper, was someone he admires. Now knowing the other teenager was someone who keeps his word he couldn't help but wish he was like him; strong.

Awkwardly, time passed, Chihiro hung around with Naegi at times and then Mondo and Ishimaru suddenly becoming extremely buddy-buddy with each other....

Then Monobear called them all to assemble in the gym.

It was their second 'motivation'.

This time Monobear had someone got his hands on their darkest secrets and plan to leak it to public unless someone is murdered within 24 hours. He couldn't possibly have, couldn't he...?

Chihiro's heart momentarily stopped and saw it.

"Chihiro Fujisaki is a man disguise in women's clothing."

He was paralyzed in fear. How did he knew? No no no no no....

The brunette took slow, deep breaths, try as he may, calming down still seems like a difficult thing to do. Eventually, once Monobear leaves the room, everyone started clearing out from the gym, possibly to gather their own thoughts- Chihiro however remained put.

Finally, he made his decision. Within his panic, he realized how running away had achieved nothing, in fact it was from running away that he created this horrendous secret for himself. But not anymore, he's going to try hard to get pass his weakness now.

Without even a second thought, Chihiro decided to ask Mondo to train him. Arranging a meeting with a gang leader, the smaller boy planned on revealing his secret to Mondo once they had meet up inside the changing room. When the time was drawing near, Chihiro had swiped his card through the card reader and opened the door--

And he found himself sitting just outside of a office (possibly the headmaster's office), with an acceptance letter on his hand, for Smash Academy. Now this is rather odd...

Anything Else?:

- Uhh I still want to keep the spoilers as a hush hush until a month or so after the LP ends, so he'll be wearing the girl's uniform and be in the girls dorm.

- Whiiich-- I'll try to omit pronouns as possible, unless specifically the other character is aware that Chihiro is a guy. Then I'll mostly using female pronouns when necessary.

- Uh basically the whole name thing is that his name is still 千尋 but ahahaah alternate readings. It's Kazuhiro, but he uses Chihiro due to Reasons, fact: both still have roughly the same meaning!

- Super High School Level Programmer/Hacker, it's already established in the game that he already created simple AIs but had created a complex AI that had a personality it's own that mimics its programmer; Alter Ego, which despite its limited resources managed to tap into the school network. So basically he can hack complicated things as well as writing his own unique data encryption- but thankfully! Too much of a nice baby to peak into other people's stuff, going through his stuff would be tricky though.

In-Character 1st person sample:
[The video shows a rather small, frail-looking brunette]

Um... H-hello, my name is Chihiro Fujisaki, nice to meet you all. I'm still in my first year of high school.

Oh, a-and... um... i-if anyone needs an extra help on computers, you can ask me if you'd like. Ehehehe...

[Before the feed ends, you can see Chihiro smiling rather shyly at the end.]

In-Character 3rd person sample:
doop and doop

It was nothing out of an ordinary day, 'least to say this school had a far more 'school-like' atmosphere than the brunette's.... previous one. It was a sigh of relief actually, after that nightmarish place, this seems like a better place- if a bit weird. Well, that's what people said to the tiny brunette anyways, Chihiro hadn't seen anything aside from the ordinary so f-

Did that guy's tail was swishing about while having an active flame on it's tip.

Rubbed those eyes, blinked once and then another. It must have been some sort of illusion, right? Aside from how well built and capable Monobear was, even then you couldn't have possibly attached a mechanical tail to someone and for it to react naturally as if it's connected to your nerves.

Chihiro must be tired, with what all the things that needed to be done today, being a new student and require to fill out classes or of the like.

Although, a small part of the hacker whispered to that after the 'old school', preparing for more stranger things to come seems to be ideal...
