Game Series: Dangan Ronpa
Canon point: Post-death
CR Reboot (Yes or No): Nope
Age (If there is a change): 17
Personality Changes (ie, some characters grow are are different based on where they are taken from. Please list any differences there might be compared to where they were taken before):
Chihiro is still as he is, a sweet, soft-spoken boy. However, in quite a careful pace along with Ishimaru's help, he's slowly going over his complexities through training and is being coached to talk more louder. It. Sort of works. Ok.
Despite Smash being radically different than most schools, being that most of the faculty and student body consist of things such as pokemon, reploids and many other nonhuman beings studying together in the same roof, he manage to feel rather comfortable in the school. Hey, at least, even if it's a fighting school- it's all optional and not to the point of death. Plus with his recent motivation to change, adapting seems to be working well a bit. Although, it would be too ideal to not mention that some of the students and events still intimidates the living out of him.
It's almost like how the lockdown in Hope's Peak slipped by his mind. Oh, don't think he never gets nightmares or forget everyone easily, rather that he still remembers them during the more lighter moments in that school and hope that everyone will somehow miraculously escape like he did.
History Changes (If any):
Actually, none at all. If anything, it's more the case where Chihiro finally got some recollection of his memories. Those memories, unfortunately being the most recent, is to his death and who was his murder.
He wasn't recently locked into the twisted school out of his will, rather- he was locked for at least a few months and with his own consent.
But the thing was, Junko Enoshima, Super High School Level Fashion Girl and also one of the Super High School Level Despair group, manage to get her hands on a memory erasing device and proceed to erase all her classmates' memories for the sake of the game she was about to unfold.
And so he woke up and thought he was locked in against a group of strangers or his would-be classmates. Whereas the truth that they've been classmates for roughly 2 years before the Great Despair Inducing Event happened.
That wasn't the only memory he lost, somehow between before his arrival in Smash and after, he was also missing several pieces in between.
To put simply, yes Chihiro did meet up with Mondo and yes he was killed by the gang leader after accidentally pushing his buttons. Cause of death was from blunt trauma with a dumbbell. Thing was, after that, the brunet woke up back in his own house- just like how it happened with Ishimaru. Except he felt far groggy and not-quite wide awake just yet.
His parents told him how he was accepted to Smash Academy and he was to be interviewed by the headmaster for a short moment by himself.
And well, the rest is history.
